Remote Learning in K-Plus
Hello K-Plus Families!
We are so sorry for not being in touch with you this week as we begin this new journey on remote learning. We have been hard at work to figure out how we can help our K-plus students and families, without adding more work to your already busy days!
For each week that MEM is closed, we will be sending out a Blogger post containing *OPTIONAL* ideas and activities for our class. These are purely supplemental, they will not be graded or tallied for participation. If you need some ideas to keep your little ones busy over the weekend or while you work from home, this will help!
Every Friday morning we will publish a blog post containing the "centers" for the following week. Most will be links to online resources that are free and don't require a log in or password. Each week will focus on a different theme and will include activities that will relate to our schedule and centers in K-plus. If your student would like to share their creations, photos, messages or feedback, we would LOVE to hear from them via email. If they want to share with the class, we can post them on our blog.
One of our favorite K-Plus routines is our Friday afternoon Mystery Reader. We plan to continue scheduling Mystery Readers. If you would like to record yourself (or your child!) reading a story, please sign up at https://forms.gle/kAB6kRuLhuoNQd258

We hope that this will help us stay connected as a class. We truly miss each and every student, and hope that we will be able to finish off the year with them on a more personal basis! We're looking at ways to chat with students, and hopefully will incorporate those methods soon.
